Richard Shaw-Wright

We asked one of those AI things to tell us more about our Evening Show host Richard Shaw-Wright, but they'd never heard of him. He wanted to be on the radio from a young age, having no idea why, and, having won a mug for losing a competition on Viking FM in 1988, that didn't put him off, which his voice gracing many stations in the North of England from 2002 onwards, and, even ending up hosting on talkSPORT 2 when the proper presenter couldn't make it.

Now, he's here in Heat Mallorca, hoping that the football team remains in La Liga, making a change from his beloved Wakefield Trinity, the rugby league side who've just been relegated.

"I have no idea what's going to be on the show," he said to himself, "so you'll have to tune in and find out."
